Thrifted bird ornaments

I scored these bird ornaments at the thrift store today. They appear to be handmade, maybe from a kit. The bodies are wood. I love them!

Vintage tie's For a dollar!

I dislike the new trend of expensive ugly ties at thrift stores.  More and more my favorite stores are switching to overpriced ties. Why is this? I stop buying them if they are more than 2 dollars. Lucky for me there are a few places that still believe in the dollar tie. Here is my latest score. I am excited to try some new crafts with this set.

Sweaters, great thrift finds, no matter what size sweaters make good hats, and legwarmers.

I am on a sweater hunt. I have snagged a few, will post soon. I like 100 % wool or 100% cotton.  My favorite colors right now are greenblue, yellow, and burnt orange.

Thrift Store Wednesday

Wednesday is 20% off day at Thrift Store on Central Ave.  Heres what I found today.

 Hot air balloon art. It has a 3-D effect and looks like its made of sand.

 3 Silk ties. Ugly ties but they will make lovely crafts.

Vintage Vinyl purse. So shiny red it was hard to photograph.
